How do i buy an iPhone online without buying a data plan with it?

i have the iPhone data plan which includes an additional payment of $30 a month, but i do not have my iPhone anymore. I am wanting to buy an iPhone online but it requires a data plan purchase also. how do i buy an iPhone online and simply put my sim card in it?How do i buy an iPhone online without buying a data plan with it?

You NEED a data plan with ANY smartphone. They all transfer data constantly in the background to get the latest updates on email, weather, etc. If you don't want a data plan, you don't want an iPhone, trust me on that. Without data, you'd be paying overage charges just for having the damn thing on. Without that background data, you just have an iPod. iPods are cheaper than iPhones.





If you just need a replacement, tell the idiots at the store you need a replacement. They won't charge you an additional $30 if you are already paying it. However, they won't give you any discounts on the phone unless you are due for an upgrade.





You can try to get it cheaper on eBay, craigslist, etc. Good luck with that...
