I'm curious as to why most of the hard drives my employer sends out to Ontrack comes back with unrecoverable data. With a high evaluation cost it seems easier just to charge a quick $100 and say it can't be recovered than actually attempting to recover data. How many of you have used Ontrack Data Recovery to successfully retrieve data from a bad hard drive?
We have used Ontract many times with excellent results. The cost is high but the results are amazing. How many of you have used Ontrack Data Recovery to successfully retrieve data from a bad hard drive?
For Data Recovery we had the same problem, Ontrack charges a fortune when a company like eProvided can do it for 1/4 the cost if a success.
