How can I import data from one sheet to another of same workbook automatically?

Plz explain in simple way. I tried it from import data option of TOOL BAR But it is too much confusing. For example if I want to copy data from column D of sheet 1 to column D of sheet 2. What steps should i follow to do it?How can I import data from one sheet to another of same workbook automatically?
Open the work book


Right click on the sheet that you want to copy


Then click ';Move or Copy';





In the pop up window that comes


To Book: select the work that you want the sheet to be copied (as you to copy it to the same work book select the same one)





Check the ';Create a copy'; box





Then Click ok





This will create a new work sheet with the content of the original one.





Though the steps here look long actually there are simple and straight when you try them

Hi


U should first select/shade the columns to be copied


by holding the right mouse button


Then hold the left mouse button and ';copy';


Next go to next sheet and again select the exact number of blank columns or cells(as in the previous sheet) and then left click and paste.


Example: in first sheet there are 10 cells in column D to be copied, then U should select 10 cells in column D in the next sheet also.


U are done!!

highlight the coloumn d... then copy or press ctrl+c


click sheet 1 then click the column insheet 1 then paste or press ctrl+v
