How can I save data like playcount on iTunes when transferring my music to another computer?

I recently got a new computer and I downloaded iTunes. I added all of my songs in the Library and data like 'Play Count' and 'Last Played' didn't come with my music. How can I get that data on the new computer from my old computer?


I already tried exporting the song list and Library, but neither worked.How can I save data like playcount on iTunes when transferring my music to another computer?
This is potentially problematic because I believe that the data you desire is tied to the actual iTunes program and not the songs. To the best of my knowledge it cannot be transfered. I looked into this with my new laptop and found no solution. I had to start new play counts, although it is interesting to see how my tastes have changed. sorry
